Back here in the UK in very cold weather. Quite a shock, an English winter straight from an Asian summer. Have felt quite ill since my arrival on 13th Nov.
Preparing for interviews in Social Work which is my profession. Having to revise legislation again after a 2 year absence. So many legal policies: Childrens Act, Protecion of Children, Human Rights Act, Equal Opportunities, Care Standards, Health and Safety, Care in the Community, Abuse Guidelines, Valuing People.....to name just a few!
Applied for several posts, one at a Childrens Residential Home, another working with older people. Dont mind where I work really I will just endeavour to offer people quality services and better life chances..... |
